This past weekend we took a camping trip to Blanco State Park for Mother's Day. One of the nice things about being out in nature this time of year is of course lightning bugs doing their things. This is likely the first time my daughter has had an opportunity to see them in any real sizable number and she was appropriately in awe. So amazing to experience the world through her eyes. This was taken just after one took off from my wife's hand after she'd caught it to show our daughter.
